“I love a classic 112 year old hotel. Shared bathrooms were clean and never a wait. Mattress was like a cloud! Everyone is helpful and friendly. Not your type of place if you're uptight and get upset about some wear and tear or hauling gear up stairs. Adventurous souls only!”

“Close to everything not the best but not the worst”

“It's Alaska, so it's different. We live in Fairbanks and were meeting family that flew in from the lower 48 and were boarding a cruise. It was a turn-and-burn, one-night stay. The hotel room was super clean, bed was super comfy, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was close (walkable) to an IGA grocery store, a liquor store, and an Alaska State museum. Totally recommend!”

“Nice location from the ferry terminal to the airport but bus is needed from downtown. Local grocery is next to the hotel. Room is clean and enough spacious. Kitchen is convenient but no kitchenware for cooking.”

“It was a nice surprise that it had a kitchenette and we we're able to make dinner and breakfast. The room was very modern, clean, and spacious for four people. The beds were very comfortable.”
